Pisco sour: Every decent Hotel bar can make this. Really great! Ingredients: 3 parts Pisco, 1 1/2 part Lemon/lime juice, 1-2 tablespoons Sugar, Ice

Piscola: You can get it at any Bar/Disco. Ingredients:1 1/2 oz Pisco, Coca-Cola, Ice. You can have it not only with Coca-Cola. You can add almost any kind of other soda drinks (sprite, fanta, etc.)

Iglesia Catedral: National monument first built by Pedro de Valdivia in 1541, has since been rebuilt several times due to earthquakes.

Plaza de Armas

Iglesia San Agustin: National monument, home to "Senor de Mayo" a statue of Christ that was untouched by the May 13, 1647 earthquake save for the crown which fell around the neck. Estado 185, Centro

Centro Artesanal Santa Lucia: Popular artisan market with diverse merchandise. South side of Alameda, just west of Santa Lucia Metro

Los Dominicos: Popular market located in more upscale area. Offers unique work in all types of materials available in Chile. At the end of Av. Apoquindo, Las Condes

Barrio Bellavista: Artisan's village: musicians, painters, dancers, et. Lots of inexpensive ethnic restaurants.

Very Important

Water: "Agua mineral" is the way to go!!
Do not drink the water.
Avoid ice cubes.
Be careful of fruit juices, as they are prepared with water.
Make sure salads and fruit are washed with purified water.
Beware of bottled water with broken seals on the caps, it's not uncommon for water bottles to be refilled with tap water and sold to tourists. Try to drink carbonated water to make sure.
Use purified water if possible for brushing teeth and do not open your mouth in the shower
